Trying to find the right accommodation years gone by was arduous saying the least. Walking around a strange town knocking on doors of Bed and Breakfasts trying to knock down the price for a contractor was a common occurrence for a travelling Pipefitter.

Due to the onset of the internet you can book your accommodation before you set off for work. Even cheap chain hotels offer clean, affordable and comfortable accommodation.

Bed and Breakfast accommodation can be hit and miss but if you find the right place then a B&B can be great value for money.

The use of caravans and chalets on holiday parks especially in the off season can also be great value for money especially if you can share. Our advice is always share accommodation with a friend or trusted work colleague never a stranger.

We at PC also advise any person whilst being away from home to tell a friend or colleague if you go out alone where you are going and when you will be back. Never get into situations where you put yourself and others at risk.
