Hull and the Humberside area has always been a haven for Pipefitters and contractors over the years because of the vast amount of storage, chemical and gas installations situated on the south side of the Humber river. Traditionally workers stay in Hull which is on the North side of the Humber or Grimsby and Cleeethorpes which are on the south side of the Humber. Cleethorpes and Grimsby have lots of Bed and Breakfast accommodating specializing in contractor friendly establishments. Cleethorpes has also a wide range of caravan parks and holiday lets. These can be useful to us Pipefitters in the Winter as park owners want to fill empty caravans, so they often offer discounted rates.
